God Sees & Hears!

Ever feel like your prayers aren’t being heard? Does it seem like God isn’t listening? At the point where you think praying is useless? Be encouraged when you read Isaiah 38!

Hezekiah was very ill and was facing death. The Lord told Isaiah the prophet to tell Hezekiah to get his affairs in order because he was going to die. The Bible says that Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, prayed to the Lord, and then wept bitterly. So the first thing Hezekiah did was PRAY! Many times when we are told bad news or we are going through a difficult situation, we try every other avenue to solve the problem before taking it to the Lord in prayer.  Pray first! Take it to God. Pour your heart out to Him. God is the one that can fix any problem in your life. 

God heard and responded to Hezekiah’s prayer! In verse 5 God tells Isaiah to go back to Hezekiah and give him this message: “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears.” It may not seem like it or feel like it, but God hears YOUR prayers as well!  He hears every word you say and sees every tear that you shed. In fact Psalm 56:8 (NLT) says “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” If you have a desperate need in your life, bring it to the Lord. Let Him help you. God SEES and HEARS you! He knows all about you, my friend!!
