Hidden Sin!

Are you hiding something from your parents?  Do you cheat on your tests at school? Is your attitude like this . . . “It’s okay, no one will ever know?”  If you are hiding something and you’re being dishonest about it, know that God is watching! Is there something you need to repent of?  Consider the truth of Proverbs 28:13. #YFA #iDevo

“Walking” in repentance is extremely important.  We need to maintain an attitude of repentance and brokenness 24/7.  Many times we falsely assume that God doesn’t know or care. Nothing could be further from the truth.  He DOES know. In fact, He knows more about you than you do! Scary, huh? He knows your thoughts, your actions, your motives, and yes, your hidden sins.  You can fool your parents, your teachers, and even your closest friends, but you’ll NEVER fool God! Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 10:26, “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.”

Here’s the challenge: deal with the sin issue in your life RIGHT NOW!  Don’t put it off. Don’t delay. Don’t procrastinate. And quit blaming everyone else for your faults and inconsistencies.  When you stand before God, you’ll stand alone and won’t be able to “pass the buck.”  Be known for your honesty and integrity and transparency.  Yes, make it a priority, a passion, a preoccupation to deal with and confess any hidden sin N-O-W!  You won’t regret it. Your life may be hanging in the balance based on this one decision to repent or keep hiding.  We’re praying for you!
