Don't Be A Fool!
Do people consider you to be a fool or wise? Check out Proverbs 26
The difference between being a fool or being wise a lot of time is timing. It is choosing to think before we speak or act instead of rashly changing forward. The problem is that each of us are at war with ourselves in which our flesh wants what is not necessarily in our own self interest. On the flip side that same rashness can cause us to make choices or trust people that sitting back and taking some time to observe and pray would give us a different perspective.
Ultimately we as believers need to be committed to prayer and placing our faith and trust in God first and not man. To do that we need to make sure we are not making choices based on what we want but what God wants and take time to make sound judgments on the people that are placed in our lives.
Think about how many times you wished you had made a difference choice in life whether with people or an event and ask yourself. Would spending a little longer in prayer and seeking God’s direction have changed your choice?
Today choose wisdom by listening to God and don’t be a fool.
