In chapter 3 of John. Jesus brings the hammer down. First to Nicodemus in understanding what it means to be born again. Ultimately for a believer it means your old self has to go away and your new self is what is born again. You were created again not by the flesh our human birth but by the spirit, our spiritual birth. Sounds crazy and hard but it is pretty simple and that is found in John 3:16-18 β€œFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

God sent Jesus to live on Earth and eventually be crucified and die so that we could be redeemed and saved. It is a gift that is freely given, we just have to be willing to believe and accept it. The thing is we all know someone who is struggling to understand this. Like Nicodemus they are having trouble accepting and it is our job to share the love of Christ with them. So ask yourself, who do I know that needs to be born again and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Begin to pray for them today and put your faith into action reaching out to the,
