Are you willing to wait for God’s plan for your life? Esther 9:20-27
After God had delivered the Jews from certain genocide, Mordecai established the feast of Purim. This feast reminded them (and us) that God can take what the enemy means for bad in our lives and turn it around for His glory.
Yes, we can take matters into our own hands. Yes, we can be impatient and impetuous and reap the consequences of our actions. But that’s not God’s plan. David said “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry” (Ps. 40:1).
God has a perfect plan for your life. But you have to wait on His timing. He’s in charge, you’re not! Rest in Him. Don’t allow chance or fate to rule your decisions and emotions. If the story of Esther tells us nothing else, it tells us that. Enjoy the feast of Purim on a personal level. As His child, God has you in the palm of His hand. Stand on Jeremiah 29:11.
