Intimacy - Check out Psalms 9:10 & 14:2

Do you realize that God wants to have intimacy with you?  He wants more than just a surface relationship.  He wants you to have a deeper walk.  He wants you to know His voice!  Consider Psalms 9:10 & 14:2.

Psalms 9:10 - “Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

Psalms 14:2 - “The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.”

Do you view your relationship with God primarily as a Sunday morning “set up”?  How do you fuel your “God relationship” Monday thru Saturday?  Intimacy requires time.  Intimacy requires commitment.  Intimacy requires investment.  You’ll never get closer to God than you are right now if you don’t put forth some effort (and change your priorities).  Look at it this way - Intimacy doesn’t come from religion, it comes from relationship!  TODAY’S CHALLENGE: Spend more time in the Bible and prayer today than you did yesterday.  Your spiritual survival is worth the extra effort!  #intimacy
