Healing - Check out Isaiah 53:4-5

Your battle scars can be your greatest testimony.  They represent what you once were, NOT who you currently are!  They’re a constant reminder of the healing power of Jesus!  See the Messiah’s resume in Isaiah 53:4-5.

The scars that we keep after healing from our brokenness can actually be our biggest testimony. Someone close to me likes to say, “Anybody can come back from anything.” That’s absolutely true for those of us who know Jesus! There is no pain too deep, not ailment too drastic, no grief too dark, no abuse too heinous for the blood of Jesus to heal. And when He does work his healing power in us, we are often left with reminders of where we were so that we can point to how God brought us here. Scripture says that we overcome the evil one by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is enough to make us whole, and our testimony about what He has done for us makes that wholeness seem accessible to others. Testimony increases other people’s faith in God in areas where they have not yet been.

So wear your scars proudly! They might be the very thing that God wishes to use to connect someone else with Him.
