Compassion or Justice?
One day we will receive God’s Compassion or Justice. DO you know which you will receive? Check out Isaiah 30. #YFA #iDevo
God is love and that is something everyone points out. Then they ask how can a loving God send people to hell? The truth lies in the fact that we serve a God of Compassion (love) and one of Justice. He longs to be gracious to you and he waits on the justice part until you stand before Him in Heaven. As a God of justice we have to understand he cannot go against that nature. There is a consequence for our sin and a payment that has to be made. The good news is that payment was made by God when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He paid the price and the requirement to accept that sacrifice? To turn from our sin, repent, and accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. You see God gave each of us a chance to be redeemed. He gave each of us a chance to see our sentence commuted. His compassion and love did that so that justice could still be served.
So today ask yourself if you have embraced God’s love and compassion and if your family and friends have done the same. God is gracious but our time is running out.
