We live in a day and age where it can seem like everything fails us. Cars break down, houses need repair, jobs end or don’t work out like we thought, friends can fail us, and people can break our hearts. The saying is nothing last forever but the truth is something does. We serve a God who is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. He is faithful and true, always by our side and the Bible which is His Word says His Word will last forever. It is our foundation and the thing we can always hold on to. The thing is we have to take time to open its pages and allow God to speak to us as we read. It is great to listen to podcasts, sermons, and read books on living the Christian life. We though have been given the same book not just to hear someone else’s revelation but to get our own revelation.

Take time today to make a commitment to read and study the Bible. Whether you set a time of 1 year or 2 or even a chapter or some amount a day. Take time to be inspired and allow God’s truth in your heart and to change your life.
