Raise The Standard!!!

God has given each of us a challenge. To take a stand for Christ and raise his banner for the world to see. Mighty warrior this means not being afraid of what anyone else might thing and instead doing what God called you to do.

One of my favorite movies is the Patriot. In the final battle the American army falters and starts to retreat including the standard bearer holding the American flag. Mel Gibson the main character grabs the flag and starts running towards the battle and as he does others quit running away and start running after him. The flag or standard is a rallying point it is the focal point for an army and God is looking to raise up an army of mighty warriors who are unafraid and unashamed of the world.

Will you respond today and carry Christ into a dark world hurting and in despair and be a light to guide them out of the dark?
