Universal Peace is Coming!

Can you imagine a world with no more war, hatred, prejudice or any form of hostility?  Can you imagine a world with no fear, no worry, no tears? IT’S COMING! Read about it in Isaiah 11.

We live in a crazy, mix-up world!  Entire nations have been wiped out due to famine and disease.  War, or the threat of war, is a 24/7 reality in many parts of the world.  People are hurting. Their lives are confused. Families are falling apart, and living the “American Dream” is now seen by many as a distant, fading hope.  In fact, hopelessness as a way of life is now rampant.

ENTER JESUS CHRIST!  He is the only one who can bring order out of chaos, joy out of mourning, strength out of weakness.  He’s the only one who can give your life purpose and meaning. Yes, He’s the only answer to the ills and woes of our modern culture (and any culture before or after us).

The Prophet Isaiah in chapter 11 gives us a small picture of what eternity will look like for that person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  No more war. No more loneliness. No more divorce. No more homelessness. No more anger or animosity. No more cancer or heart disease. INSTEAD . . . perfect peace . . . total rest . . . total contentment . . . all nations living in harmony . . . total protection!

Yes, in 2020, that sounds like a pipe dream.  It sounds too good to be true. It seems too idealistic, too fairytale.  But it’s not! It’s God’s Word! It’s etched in scripture. It’s based on the promises given to men like Isaiah thousands of years ago.  AND YOU CAN TAKE IT TO THE BANK!

Be encouraged.  Don’t lose heart.  Don’t let go of the promises of God.  There’s a better day coming! The prophets proclaimed it.  Jesus and the apostles foretold it. And we can bank our lives on it happening just like the Bible says it will (whether you or I believe it or not!).  Yes, UNIVERSAL PEACE IS COMING! Take that reality to heart and live your life accordingly.
