Jesus Love Me, This I Know
Are you having a hard time finding love? Have you been hurt or abused in some way? Have you given up on love? Be encouraged! There’s a better day coming! Stand on the promise of Isaiah 16:5! #YFA #iDevo
Life can be tough. Bad things happen . . . divorce, severed friendships, hurt feelings, nasty comments, etc. As much as we try to avoid bad situations, they are inevitable. That’s why a relationship with Jesus Christ is so important. He’ll never let you down. He’ll never disappoint you. He’s “a friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Prov. 18:24). He’s not a fair-weather friend either. He’ll be there in the good times, the bad times, and the in-between times. THAT’S SWEET!
As important as a relationship with Christ is now, it goes way beyond this life! There’s a time coming, during what is called the “Millennial Reign of Christ,” that perfect peace and total love will be the norm. You won’t have to search for it. Think about it! No more pain. No more abuse of any kind. No more separation or divorce. No need for police forces or any type of military. No more disease or sickness. Wow! What a promise and what a future for the one who has repented of their sins, accepted Christ as their only hope and Savior, and is living that changed lifestyle every day.
Let these words of the prophet Isaiah in 16:5 minister to you and encourage you today . . . “In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it - one from the house of David - one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.”
Are you hurting? Are you reaching out for help? Do you need a miracle? Accept this truth today. Lean on it. Trust it. Bank on it. That truth??? “JESUS LOVES ME, THIS I KNOW!”
