One of the toughest things we can face is doing things that are beneficial to us put hurts everyone else. The world says you climb the ladder of life stepping on and over the people before you on your way to the top. It is a cut throat world when the only thing that matters is you. Yet as believers we are called to something different. It is looking out for what is best for those above us like a servant acting wisely for their master or in helping the poor instead of mocking them or not laughing at the failures and pitfalls of others and instead helping to pick them up and help them move forward.

In the end our actions will speak louder than any words we say so take some time as you try to get ahead to make sure your actions are drawing people to Christ and not pushing them away.
