Passion: Our Best Effort

Whatever is honorable that we do in life, let's do it with passion to perform at our best.  You ask, "What's in it for me if I do that?"  Just a few examples of what justifies your effort: better grades in school, better results in competitive sports, quicker discovery of talents, greater sense of self, and most importantly knowing you've glorified God. 

Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men."

Our efforts DO matter.  We were designed so that we are capable of choosing our actions, our reactions, and our choices in life.  If we fail to give our best effort then we should not expect to get our best result.

We reap the best results and get the most blessings when our actions or decisions follow what God wants for us.  Know that God wants only the very best for each of his children.  Don't neglect reading your Bible so you will know what God and His Son Jesus Christ has said about living a wise and blessed life.   

Passionately pursue your dreams and goals, but be on guard that you do not become so self-focused that you fail to see those around you that need your help too.  Stay in love with God, passionately do good, and avoid doing harm to others. That is a life well-lived.
