God is For Us!

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” -Romans 8:31

Amen! Need I say more? This verse acts as a response to those before it. The Holy Spirit prays for us and helps us to pray for God’s will. God hears those prayers and enacts his will in this world and in our lives. His good will for us makes us more like Christ because he foreknew us and predestined us to carry out his will, and we are then justified from our sins and glorified with Jesus. If we have the promise of all these things because we know God, then who could possibly do anything to bring us down? As we discovered, any suffering that anyone could bring to us can be used for God’s glory and will pale in comparison to the glory we will see after we are raised from the dead.

Brothers and sisters, don’t fear people. Don’t fear what this world will do to you. We have a great God! If he is for us, who could possibly be against us?!
