Holiness - Check out John 16:13

How important is holiness to God? The blessed third person of the Trinity is the “Holy” Spirit! And His job/ministry is to help YOU live a holy life in this crazy, mixed up world! Look at John 16:13!

John 16:13, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” ESV

We are not made to walk this journey alone and God knows that. It is why we have friends and mentors, and people who are accountability partners for us. Unfortunately, we will have times when our friends or mentors will not be available to us. Who do you have in those moments? Well, God knew we would need a friend so He gave us the Holy Spirit to be inside of us and to guide us on this journey called life. It is important to stay tender and attentive to His whispers so that we walk in the path of truth.

The Holy Spirit is our greatest asset. He is more than our conscience. He is a real person in the God-head. In what ways can you become more attentive to Him today? If maybe you have not heard the Spirit in a while speak to you, it is time for repentance and to be obedient to the last thing He told you!
