Holiness - Check out Psalms 96:9
Holiness is not a popular subject. Nobody wants to deny themselves of what the flesh wants. In God’s eyes, holiness is “beautiful!” We’re serious! Look at Psalms 96:9.
Psalms 96:9, “Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble [in submissive wonder] before Him, all the earth.” AMP
Holiness is not a fun topic. Our nature before Christ is completely opposed to it, and sometimes after Christ we still have areas and seasons of struggle. There is a reason Paul talks about in Galatians that our flesh has been crucified with Christ. Sanctification is a process, but even in process we are still to worship the Lord in holiness. I believe as we worship Him in holiness and reverence that we receive the greatest level of joy from our life with Him.
Challenge for today is to ask the Lord to reveal areas that need to be crucified and to allow Him to have His way in those places, and to worship Him for His goodness in being a loving Father.
