Intimacy - Check out Psalm 34:10

Do you know that if you’ll put some effort into your relationship with God that you will “lack no good thing”?  That’s incredible and hard to believe, but that’s exactly what Psalm 34:10 tells us.

Psalms 34:10 - “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.”

Here’s the definition of “effort” - “a vigorous or determined attempt.”

Here’s the definition of “passion” - “a strong feeling or emotion; an object of someone's love, liking, or desire.”

Finally, here’s the definition of “intimacy” - “closeness between people in personal relationships. It's what builds over time as you connect with someone, grow to care about each other, and feel more and more comfortable during your time together.”

So, here’s the scenario or “formula” you need to implement in your life today . . . effort + passion = intimacy!  Grab ahold of the promise of Psalms 34:10.  IF you’ll passionately seek the Lord, IF you’ll make your relationship and walk with Him priority #1, IF you’ll make “the right thing the right thing,” you will lack NO GOOD THING!  In other words, God will take care of every detail of your life!

TODAY’S CHALLENGE:  Focus your attention on your “vertical” relationship with God, and sit back and watch Him take care of every “horizontal” relationship and detail of life that is consuming you!  Try it!  It works.  #intimacy
