How Are You Described?
What words are used to describe you? Check out Proverbs 31 to see how you should be described. #YFA #iDevo
Proverbs 31 gives us the characteristics of a Godly woman, yet those characteristics apply to men as well. Take a look at the qualities and see if that is something you already possess or need to work on.
Trustworthy: (v 11) Are you someone people place their trust in or have doubts about your trustworthiness? Are your actions matching your words?
Focus on doing good: (v 12) Are you someone who strives to do the right thing or likes to bend and break the rules?
Hardworking (v 13) Are you someone who is hardworking or lazy?
Selfless (v14-15) Do you make sure others are cared for or put yourself first?
Prudent (v 16-19) Do you make good thought out decisions or are you rash in your choices?
Generous and Compassionate (20-21) Are you willing to help others in need?
Good Reputation (22-24) Are you someone with a good or bad reputation?
Positive and Dignified (25) Are you someone who is negative and down or positive and strong
Wise (26) Are you someone who people look up to and respect or ignore you and discard your words.
Honored (27-29) Are you someone who people consider to be honorable and trustworthy or someone to be avoided?
Fears God not Man (v 30) Are you more worried about what God thinks of you or man?
Her Actions Speak Louder than her words (v 31) Do your actions match your words and draw people to God or push them away?
