Peace: The Woman at the Well

John 4:10 "Jesus replied, "If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water."

So many times we are like the Samaritan woman, running away and caught up in our own world, our own issues and problems that we miss the opportunity that God has set before us. The Samaritan woman was so blinded by her hatred, she could not see the gift of the one that was sitting right there in front of her.

Here is the deal, God came to give us life and give us life more abundantly. Now for the Samaritan woman, she left the water she came to get at the well and ran towards the very people she was avoiding. She had an encounter with God receiving peace that flowed over all of her shame and hurts. She received a deeper gift than she could have every hoped for.

God wants to give you more than what you think you want from Him. Turn your hearts to God and open up, He will be your peace!
