Faith + Action = Unlocked Authority
Luke 7:1-10
This is the story of a Roman soldier who has a slave get deathly sick. So sick, that while on his death bed the soldier sent people to Jesus to ask him to heal the him. Jesus goes but on the way, the soldier sends some friends and says that Jesus does not need to go to the house, simply that if He commands it, the man will be healed. Jesus tells the people around him that He has not seen faith like the Roman soldier's in all of Israel.
Now there are a few things we can learn from the story:
Some times we have a need that is so dire it demands faith because there is nothing we can do about the need in our own power.
He has a need that demanded faith and a faith that demanded action. The soldier did not hope the man would be healed but took action to find Jesus to make it happen.
We may have natural authority on this Earth but God has supernatural authority. He has the power to make the impossible, possible but to unlock that supernatural authority it takes:
Faith + Action = Unlocked Authority
Whatever you are going through it is time to not just have faith but to take action on that faith!
